NaturalVision Evolved (SP)

NaturalVision Evolved (NVE) is an unfinished visual mod that is currently in early access. Numerous changes have been made to environmental weather conditions, the lighting system, ambient colors, tone mapping, world textures, building models, props, vegetation, and much more, in order to blur the line between fantasy and reality.

The goal was to make GTA V visually resemble real-life Southern California. To achieve this, extensive research was conducted in the Los Angeles region (Los Santos) and the Salton Sea area (Sandy Shores) using hundreds of photographs and many hours of video footage. All of this was necessary to create the most realistic visual experience currently possible within the limitations of the GTA V game engine.
